Welcome to Harbour City Animal Hospital. Our veterinary hospital is centrally located in Nanaimo, BC.

Reception

You will be greeted by our warm and friendly staff with a smile and lots of treats!                                                                                                                

Exam room #1

Our large exam room. Provides ample room for examination of larger dogs. We also use this as our comfort room during euthanasias. A door to the outside allows owners to take as much time as they need to say goodbye and leave when ready.

Pharmacy

Our fully stocked pharmacy has all your pet's medication needs including flea and tick control and dewormers.

Reception

Our reception area was designed to feel more like home, not a hospital. This keeps pets and owner's stress levels to a minimum. 

Exam room #2

Our smaller exam room that we generally use for cats and small dogs. The table flips down to allow for more space if needed.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Surgery

Our surgery suite. Our custom made anesthetic machines have oxygen generators. We also have a warm air blanket to help maintain your pet's body temperature during surgical procedures.

X-rays

Our full body digital x-ray system. We can quickly obtain radiographs (x-rays) of your pet. Our machine allows us to instantly share images with radiologists, other specialists, and with owners in the exam rooms.
